Graduated from Sofia Medical University in 2010. He acquired his specialty Visceral Surgery in 2019, and his specialty General Surgery acquired in 2025. She also obtained a specialty Special Visceral Surgery, as well as a scientific and educational degree “doctor” after defending a dissertation at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ruhr-Bochum, Germany on the topic: Carrying out sleeve resection of the stomach in outpatient settings.

Biography
Dr. Georgiev began his career at the Clinic of Gall-Liver, Pancreatic and Transplantation Surgery of VMA Sofia. In 2013 he continued his specialization in Germany. In 2015 he joined a hospital in North Rhine Westphalia and in 2019 he acquired a specialty in Visceral Surgery and became chief physician in the Department of Bariatric Surgery. Since 2022, he has been deputy chief at the Center for Bariatric Surgery in Weissermarsch, Germany. He works as head of department at the Clinic of General, Visceral and Bariatric Surgery and as an operator of the center. Currently, she is part of the specialist teams of MDC Haеlan Care - Sofia, Mladost.
