Dr. Elena Draganova

Dr. Elena Draganova is a specialist pediatrician in Sofia with over 10 years of experience. Her professional interests are in the field of pediatric emergencies, intensive care in pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, infectious diseases of the pediatric population, preventive examinations and vaccine prophylaxis, breastfeeding support and lactation-related medical conditions in the mother and baby.

Education and qualifications

Dr. Draganova graduated from the Medical University of Bulgaria. Sofia and has acquired a specialty “Pediatrics”.

Qualifications

  • Breastfeeding course for medical professionals at the National Breastfeeding Support Association and has successfully passed the exam, giving the opportunity to upgrade training for an International Certified Breastfeeding Consultant (IBCLC);
  • Annual refresher trainings to the National Breastfeeding Support Association (NAPK);
  • Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association;
  • Participation in numerous national congresses and seminars on the specialty;
  • Member of the Bulgarian Paediatric Association (BPA) and Secretary of the Association of Pediatricians for the Future.

Biography

Dr. Draganova began her professional career as a pediatrician at the Clinic of Pulmonology and Intensive Care Unit of SBALDB “Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev”, Bulgaria. Sofia in the period from 2013 to 2018

In 2017 she joined the team of the First Children's Consultative Clinic (1DKK). * 1DKK is part of the Haelan Healthcare Group.

Dr. Draganova also examines foreign patients in English.
