Dr. Evgenia Peneva is a specialist in internal medicine and nephrologist in Sofia with over 22 years of medical experience. Her professional interests are in the field of glomerular diseases, renal involvement in systemic diseases, prevention and treatment of CKD. Dr. Peneva does not examine children.

Education
Graduated from Sofia Medical University in 2001. She has acquired specialties of Internal Medicine and Nephrology after specializations at the University Hospital Aleksandrovska and the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior Sofia.

- Certificates: Abdominal ultrasound and Doppler ultrasound;
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association;
- Participation in numerous national congresses and seminars on the specialty.
Biography
Since 2004, Dr. Peneva has been appointed as a research associate at the Clinic for Internal Diseases and Therapy of the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior and works as an internist and subsequently as a nephrologist. Since 2019 she has been part of the team of specialists of MC Haеlan Care - Blvd. Bulgaria (Polyclinic Bulgaria). Fluent in English.
