Dr. Ivan Vetsev practices as an obstetrician-gynecologist and expert “Access to treatment” in the National Patient Organization — the largest patient association in Bulgaria. Combines active clinical activity with commitment to socially significant health causes and initiatives.
Education and qualifications

Even during his studies, Dr. Vetsev actively participated in health campaigns and projects aimed at socially significant diseases and problems in health care.
He has worked in NGOs and pharmaceutical companies, gaining extensive experience in various aspects of the healthcare system.
His scientific interests are in the field of:
- Early diagnosis, prevention and management of labor in pregnancies at increased risk
- Methods for safely terminating a pregnancy at will or according to medical indications
- Nutrition during pregnancy
- Minimally invasive and plastic surgery in gynecology
- Limiting the impact of sexually transmitted infections
