Dr. Momchil Kermedchiev

Graduated from Medical University Plovdiv in 2005. She acquired her specialty in Surgery in 2018 at the Clinic of Abdominal Surgery at Hospital “Tsaritsa Ioanna - ISUL” Sofia. From 2009 to 2012 he participated in research projects at the Institute of Neurobiology. Since 2017 she is a PhD student in General Surgery at Sofia Medical University.

Qualifications

• From 2008 to 2015 participated in the organization and conduct of local and international scientific congresses and conferences of the Bulgarian Surgical Society;
• Certified specialist to perform highly specialized invasive activities: Fibrocolonoscopy, Fibrogastroscopy, Laparoscopic surgery, Ultrasound diagnostics, Biopsies and punctures under ultrasound control of superficial and deep structures, Doppler ultrasound of vessels;
• Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association and the Bulgarian Surgical Society;
• Participation in numerous national and international congresses and seminars in the specialty.
• Dr. Kermedchiev participates in clinical studies in the field of difficult-to-heal and chronic wounds, together with the Institute of Organic Chemistry and the Center for Phytochemistry of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The focus of the research is on the development and implementation of new natural healing substances based on garden snail mucus, herbal extracts, essential and essential oils — an approach that combines tradition, science and natural medicine.

From 2008 to 2018 she worked at the University Hospital Tsaritsa Ioanna - ISUL Sofia. From 2018 to 2019 he worked and specialized in Germany, and from 2019 he practiced at the University Hospital Aleksandrovska Sofia. Currently, he is part of the team of specialists of MC Haelan Care - Blvd. Bulgaria (Policlinica Bulgaria). Fluent in English, German and Russian.
