Dr. Stela Valeva
Dr. Stela Valeva is a specialist ophthalmologist based in Sofia. She performs preventive and diagnostic eye examinations. Her primary professional focus is on anterior segment diseases, refractive errors, dry eye syndrome, as well as the prevention and monitoring of patients who work long hours in front of screens. She applies a modern approach tailored to the specific needs and lifestyle of each patient. Dr. Valeva believes that clear communication and trust between doctor and patient are the foundation of successful treatment and long-term vision care. Dr. Valeva treats both adults and children over the age of 6.
Education and qualifications
She graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2020. She obtained her specialty in Ophthalmology in 2025 after completing her residency at St. John the Baptist University First Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment.

Biography
During her training, Dr. Valeva volunteered in eye clinics, where she assisted in diagnostic, consultative, and patient-oriented activities. Currently, she is part of the specialist teams at MedCross Medical Center and Bulgaria Polyclinic – Haelan Group. She is fluent in English.
