Dr. Vasil Darakchiev is a specialist in ENT diseases in Sofia. He carries out diagnostic and advisory examinations in children over 3 years of age and adults, offering science-based treatment in line with world recommendations. His professional interests are related to the treatment of:
- Adenoid vegetations (third tonsil) in children;
- Acute and chronic diseases of the tonsils;
- Difficulty nasal breathing;
- Diseases of the nose and paranasal cavities;
- Functional endoscopic sinus surgery;

Education and qualifications
Dr. Darakchiev graduated from Sofia Medical University in 2024 and currently specializes in Otorhinolaryngology at the University Hospital Sofiamed.

- Presents clinical cases at world congresses in London and Tokyo, in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Biography
Dr. Vasil Darakchiev showed interest in otorhinolaryngology at the university. He has been volunteering at KUNG at UMBAL Sofiamed since 2022. Participated in the fight against the Covid pandemic as part of the team of a multi-profile emergency department at UMBALSM Pirogov. He works under the guidance of Dr. Grozdanov at UMBAL Sofiamed. Currently he is part of the teams of MDC Haelan Care - Sofia, Mladost.
