Dr. Vasilka Malinova
Dr. Vasilka Malinova is a specialist pediatrician and pediatric nephrologist in Sofia and Burgas with over 15 years of medical experience. Her professional interests are in the field of pediatric nephrology, kidney stone disease, congenital anomalies of the urinary system, premature babies, vaccine prophylaxis and genetic diseases.
Education and qualifications
Graduated from Sofia Medical University in 2010, she acquired her specialty Pediatric Diseases in 2015 after specialization in Acibadem City Clinic UMBAL Tokuda. In 2021, she acquired a second specialty in pediatric nephrology and hemodialysis after specialization in the Clinic of Pediatric Nephrology and Hemodialysis, SBALDB “Prof. Ivan Mtev”, gr. Sofia. Since 2023 she is a PhD student at the Department of Pediatric Diseases, MU Pleven.
Qualifications
• Intern for 1 month at the University Children's Clinic in Pamplona, Spain;
• One-week seminar: Pediatric Endocrinology and Nephrology, Salzburg, Austria;
• Participation in European Congress in Madrid, as well as congresses in Bulgaria;
• Course: Abdominal ultrasound in childhood;
• Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association;
• Member of the European Society of Pediatric Nephrology.
Biography
From 2012 to 2016, Dr. Malinova worked as a full-time doctor at the Children's Clinic at Acibadem City Clinic UMBAL Tokuda. Since 2016 she has been part of the team of specialists of the First Children's Consultative Clinic (1 DKK) — Haelan Group. Currently she is also part of the team of MC Haelan Care Burgas / First Children's Consultative Clinic.
