Dr. Yavor Kirilov
Dr. Yavor Kirilov is a specialist surgeon and proctologist with over 15 years of clinical practice in Germany. His focus is on innovative surgical techniques, minimally invasive and conventional surgery, oncosurgery and individual patient care. His practice is aimed at the diagnosis and operative treatment of diseases of the stomach, small and large intestines, rectum, oncosurgery, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, thyroid gland, all kinds of hernias of the abdominal wall and proctological diseases. Dr. Kirilov does not examine children.
Education and qualifications
Graduated from Varna Medical University in 2012. He acquired his specialties General Surgery, Abdominal Surgery and Proctology in 2020 and 2022 in Germany. There is an additional qualification Expert in the treatment of complicated and chronic wounds (Wundexpert) since 2021 in Germany.
Qualifications
- Certificates for blood transfusions, abdominal ultrasound;
- Specialized theoretical and practical training in leading clinics in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Münster and Dortmund;
- Participation in numerous congresses and seminars on the specialty in Germany;
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, German Society for General and Abdominal Surgery DGAV and Professional Association of German Surgeons BDC.
Biography
After graduating in 2012, he began his specialization in Germany. From 2013 to 2016 he was a graduate student at the Asklepios Klinikum Goslar, and in the period from 2016 to 2025 he worked at the Knappschaft Kliniken Dortmund, where from 2022 he was head of the Department of Surgery. Currently she is part of the teams of specialists of the Department of Surgery at the Heart and Brain Hospital Burgas and MC Heilan Care Burgas. Fluent in English and German.
