Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rada Markova
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rada Markova has over 20 years of experience as a specialist pediatrician and pediatric pulmonologist.
In September 2012, she became the manager and founder of the “First Children's Consultative Clinic” Sofia. She devoted the following years of her life and work to outpatient pediatrics, prevention in childhood and follow-up of children with chronic diseases.
She is a mother of three children.
Education and qualifications
From the very beginning of her career she worked as a pediatrician in University Children's Clinics - initially at the University Hospital “St. Marina” - Varna, and later - at the University Children's Hospital - Sofia, where she successively is a specialist in pediatrics, ordinator, assistant and chief assistant.
She has an internship in the Neonatology Clinic - SBALDB, the Intensive Sector - SBALDB, and over 17 years - in the Pediatric Clinic of the University Hospital “Aleksandrovska”.
In 2004, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rada Markova acquired a specialty in pediatric diseases, and in 2011 - in pediatric pulmonology. She has a master's degree in business administration

Biography
It has been part of the medical network “Air for Health” from the very beginning of its creation. In 2022, together with colleagues from the team of 1 DCC, they created the Association “Pediatricians for the Future” for the purpose of training and qualification of young doctors and nurses in the field of outpatient pediatrics.2022, the team of 1 DCC issues the first “Outpatient Pediatrics” medical protocols” in Bulgaria for work in the most frequent outpatient conditions in childhood. She is a member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Pediatric Association, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Pediatric Respiratory Society, President of the Association” Pediatricians for the Future”.

Her scientific interests are in the field of general pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology — diagnosis and treatment of general pediatric conditions and problems, vaccine prevention, children with infantile hemangiomas, effects and importance of air pollution for children's health, acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system - bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis cidosis, non-invasive methods of assessing allergic inflammation of the respiratory tract, etc.
