Velislava Tasheva
Dr. Velislava Tasheva is a specialist in Clinical Allergology with over 5 years of medical experience. She provides prevention, modern diagnostics, and treatment of allergic diseases (including allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, acute/chronic urticaria, as well as drug, food, and insect allergies) and preoperative consultations. She performs skin prick testing, pulmonary function tests, and allergen-specific immunotherapy, while providing ongoing monitoring for her patients. Dr. Tasheva does not treat pediatric patients.
Education and qualifications
She graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 2020. Since 2020, she has been part of the Clinic of Pneumology and Phisiology at the 'St. Marina' University General Hospital in Varna. In 2021, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the First Department of Internal Medicine (Lung Diseases and Allergology Unit) at the Medical University of Varna, and since 2023, she has been pursuing her PhD. In 2023, she earned a Master’s degree in Health Management and Medico-Social Care with a thesis titled "Analysis of the Financial Condition of University Hospitals in Bulgaria." She obtained her specialty in Clinical Allergology in 2025.
Biography
Dr. Tasheva began her professional career at the Clinic of Pneumology and Phthisiology at the 'St. Marina' University General Hospital in Varna in 2020. Between 2020 and 2025, she also worked as a physician in the Emergency Department of the Shumen General Hospital. Currently, she is also a member of the specialist team at Haelan Care 4 Medical Center. She is fluent in English.
