Who is the program suitable for?

The program is suitable for both women with earlier symptoms such as fluctuations in weight, Fatigue, irregular cycle, acne or propensity to retain fluids, and for women with already pronounced metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, hepatic steatosisor increased cardiovascular risk.

What does the program include?

Medical examinations and imaging:

• Examination by a specialist endocrinologist
• ‍ Thyroid ultrasound
• Focal ultrasound of liver and kidneys

Laboratory tests:

• General indicators: PKK with DKK, Potassium, Sodium, Creatinine and CKD-EPI (assessment of renal function), Uric acid, ASAT (AST), ALAT (ALT);
• Hormonal profile:TSH, fT3, fT4, Estradiol, Progesterone, Insulin, Glucose, Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), HOMA index (calculation of insulin resistance), Vitamin D (25-OH);
• Metabolic and inflammatory status:Lipid profile (Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides), hs-CRP (highly sensitive C-reactive protein — a marker of inflammation and additional assessment of cardiovascular risk);
• Iron and trace elements: Serum iron, Ferritin, HRC (iron binding capacity), Folic acid.

Consultations - optional (paid separately):

Nutritionist/Nutritionist— consultation and preparation of an individual nutrition plan in order to achieve and maintain a healthy weight - 300 BGN.
