Strategy and Transformation Manager

Leading the Haelan Strategic Programme Office and performance oversight, the role drives alignment across entities, ensures delivery of strategic priorities, and supports the CEO and Management Team in executing initiatives that advance growth, integration, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Business Support

• Translate the CEO’s and Board’s vision into multi-year plans and KPIs aligned with the Haelan Balanced Scorecard;
• Manage the annual strategic planning cycle and ensure functional and regional plans align with Haelan’s priorities;
• Prepare high-quality Board, investor, and client materials;
• Support the CEO and executives in refining growth priorities and developing business cases;

Haelan Strategic Program Office & Initiative Management

• Lead the governance and tracking of group-level strategic and transformation initiatives (integration, digital health, patient pathways);
• Coordinate cross-functional execution, risk management, and interdependencies;
• Provide tools, analytics, and reporting to ensure disciplined delivery and accountability;
• Manage progress reporting across the strategic pillars and ensuring initiative performance feeds directly into the Balanced Scorecard;

Performance & Analytics

• Maintain the Haelan Performance Dashboard covering financial, operational, and patient metrics;
• Conduct analytical reviews and benchmarking to inform strategic decisions;
• Partner with CFO and COO to align financial and operational reporting with the Balanced Scorecard;
• Benchmarking Haelan’s performance against national and European peers to identify opportunities for growth and excellence;

CEO Office & Executive Coordination

• Manage the rhythm and operations of the CEO Office, including agenda planning, Board preparation, and follow-ups;
• Act as the CEO’s point of contact for cross-functional issues and executive coordination;
• Support engagement with investors, partners, and corporate clients;

Integration, Change & Organisational Development

• Oversee disciplined integration of new businesses and alignment under the “One Haelan” model.
• Partner with HR on leadership development, talent pipelines, and cultural alignment.
• Partner with CFO on operational excellence initiatives  across the group
• Internal communication initiatives ensuring transparency, consistency, and shared ownership of results

Candidate Profile

Experience:

5–8 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, healthcare operations, or strategic PMO leadership. Experience in healthcare, private equity-backed, or multi-site service organizations preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Management, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred.

• Proven strategic and analytical capabilities with strong business acumen
• Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen; able to interpret P&L, model business cases, and link strategic initiatives to measurable value creation
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities
• High integrity, discretion, and ownership; thrives in a dynamic, change-oriented environment
